I really enjoyed the musical concept. Rooms are really clean, well designed and comfy. Food is good and the best thing in life is to watch a show, take an elevator and go straight to bed. Hardly recomend it.

Different vibe than everything I’ve ever had. The place is brand new and beautiful! The restaurant staff could be better, you could see in their faces that they didn’t want to be there serving us (except for the girl which I don’t remember the name but was super cool). The desert was AMAZING! One of the best I’ve ever had in my life!

We LOVED this hotel, such a cool little spot - the design of the place is amazing. We also like that you could take a vinyl player and select some vinyl from the music library to play in your room. The only downside for us was that the rooms were a bit small, but then we did go for the cheapest option! The breakfast was amazing, and they even provided us with a small breakfast box at checkout because our flight was very early in the morning. A very thoughtful little touch.

What can i say about this hotel other than its perfect !!! I would highly recommend this hotel, the building is a lovely modern design, rooms are lovely, staff are great. Breakfasts are superb. Would definitely recommend here.

Mouco is a lovely hotel in the east of Porto, still close to the center, you'll need around 20 minutes walk to reach downtown. It's a great hotel with quiet rooms, especially suited for any kind of sound addicts like me. Where's the place where you can get you vinyl player in your hotel room and rent an electric guitar to practice, all for free? Great approach and lovely people all around. After my second time staying there it feels like home far away from my own one. The garden and little swimming pool build a fine balance to the daily hurly-burly of the city. A place to return to!

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. The staff was always top notch and super friendly. By entering the hotel premises, it felt like entering a different “world”. The interior design is very stylish, clean, rustic and yet modern. We never experienced a hotel with a musical concept and found it super interesting. A lot of detail has been spent to acoustics in every single room. We once had dinner at the restaurant and loved the quality of food and service. The hotel was located very closely the metro and local train station, so it was easy to get to the city center. Would definitely come back and totally recommend to book a room at Mouco!

Clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was gorgeous, dinner in the restaurant was lovely. The location is great with just a short metro trip into the centre. I can confidently recommend.

Fantastic hotel. Even though it is very much in the soft opening stage, i cant recommend enough. It is located between two main metro lines as well as on numberous bus routes. But the hotel is hidden off a side road so you wont be affected by traffic or street noise. Porto centre is also in walking distance where you can take in some urban sightseeing as you stroll through the city. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. If you want to add a little luxury to your Porto experience, stay here!!

Gorgeous hotel! Very Hip! Fabulous design and everything was well considered. I highly recommend. For tourists: it is quite far from the city center in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is close to the metro and it was very easy to get Ubers.

We had a great stay in the Hotel. We were impressed by the young and comitted team. The Hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are wonderfully designed. A good place to stay in Porto! Delicous breakfast! .

Cool architecture, both on the inside and on the outside. It's all in the details! Great food in the bar and delicious breakfast. Staff was very friendly and eager to provide information. There's music all the time and you can take a record player and records to your room - how nice is that 🙂 The sound isolation in the rooms is good, so a good night's rest was no problem. The subway is very close, but you can also go to the city center by foot. I definitely recommend this hotel for a trip to Porto!

We loved it here. Guitars, records, great food and a great bar. The staff were brilliant and so was the room. We are looking forward to coming back!

The stay was absolutely amazing. The interior design was stunning, very rustic and authentic yet modern with a lime wash finish on the walls. It truly felt like there was great attention to detail and a lot of thought into the customer experience of the hotel. Every single member of staff went above and beyond to ensure the comfort of mine and my friend's stay, both during the day and the evening were super helpful. We paid for the breakfast separately and it had great options for vegetarians also (fresh pastries, fruit, cereal, cheeses, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans and other meat options also). The hotel hosts music events over the weekend, unfortunately we were leaving during the day on Saturday but they had an intimate music concert that evening with Nadia Rose. The hotel also had vinyl records to select from which we were provided with a record player to use in our room and enjoyed great music over our stay. The hotel was located very closely to the centre where there were good restaurants and bars. I'll be going back to Mouco on my next visit and would highly recommend this hotel if you're in Porto!

The best hotel we have ever been! Aesthetically pleasing, affordable and with really helpful staff. This hotel is on a totally different level. I really hope to see another Mouco in a different city.

best hotel in Porto, hands down. a little pricey for the average backpacker but the staff are exceptional, the accommodations have the chillest vibes and the aesthetics are calming

Lovely hotel with a extraordinary concept: minimalism and music. The staff was friendly, the rooms affordable and clean and the food (breakfast) was also yummy. We noticed a few (small) things that bothered us that explain the 4 stars rather than 5 stars: First, despite the rooms being really nice and tidy they weren‘t that practical. Hooks, some more light and shelves were missing. Also, they did not serve fresh coffee at breakfast (only Nescafe). Otherwise we are happy to come back again. Staff: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Facility: 5/5 Room: 4/5 Value for money: 5/5 Overall: 28/30

I can fully recommend the hotel: the beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms spacious, everything is new and the concept quite unique. Staff (reception and bar / restaurant) is really helpful and friendly and the room service excellent. There are some tiny and rather lovely hiccups (e.g. wrong wiring of the microwave) due to the recent opening, but those were immediately solved or a (temporary) work-around provided. You should do the two tours on the free to use smart phone.

Beautiful hotel with friendly, helpful staff. When checking in you'll receive a cellphone which serves as the room phone with lots of useful functions. The room has a sound system, and the interior of the hotel is modern, yet cozy and relaxing.

Couldn’t have asked for a more romantic spot to spend the weekend in the beautiful city of Porto. If you’re a lover of music, architecture and good service I highly recommend this hotel. Great selection of vinyls to choose from and guitars. Even if you don’t play an instrument specifically, but just enjoy music check this spot out! It’s such a cool concept and makes for a great story. I stayed in one of the suites/apartments and the balcony was just lovely. A bit cold this time of year so couldn’t use pool but I imagine it would be a huge success in the summer. Thank you Hotel Mouco

One of the best hotel you can ask for. Best service ever. The design of the hotel is so unique and with the highest possible design. Near a subway station and train station. Excellent choice for a romantic gateway or more.

Loved my few days here, we played a show in the music hall in the basement. Then we had a couple of days to chill. Rooms are great, really comfy beds and good powerful shower. All staff are lovely, the hotel has some really quirky features such as vinyl players. Nice little swimming pool I had some amazing physio with Flora who really helped my bad back and gave me superb advice on how to stretch etc before playing my drums I will definitely be back and book some more time with Flora.

Unexpectedly stayed at this hotel after a mix up with a reservation at another place. This hotel could not have been more welcoming to us and our dog. Great vibe in the place. Never been in in hotel that had a vinyl library. One can also borrow a guitar, something my brother and I did as we are both players. The four of us spent the evening in the very welcoming bar. Breakfast the next day was great. Will stay here the next time we are in porto.

Very nice hotel with a great vibe and architecture. The room was clean and well-designed. But the best thing was that you could pick up your own vinyl player and vinyls and play them in your room. It is also possible to use a guitar that way. The breakfast is very good, I would recommend that. The area is rather quiet, it is close to the metro station of Heroism.
